Tea Gardens, and its sister town of Hawks Nest, are proud to be recognised as one of the most pleasant areas in Australia, with a wide range of modern facilities, but not yet spoiled by 'progress'. Situated on the northern side of Port Stephens, this great location is only 50 minutes from Newcastle and only around 2.5 hours from Sydney. In comparison with the more populated and developed towns of Nelson Bay across the bay to our south, and Forster/Tuncurry to our north, we do enjoy a relaxed, friendly way of life here in our own 'Paradise'.
If you intend visiting our area we’re sure that you will enjoy our friendly club when you drop in. The clubhouse has all of the usual facilities available in registered clubs. The Club is air-conditioned and there is a well-stocked bar, the best TAB in town, Club Keno, a pool table and a billiard table, large screen televisions. There is a 200-seat multi-cultural restaurant, that can be used for functions and/or for conferences, for bookings phone 02 4997 9412. We have an ATM and EFTPOS facilities.
Why not bring the family and let the kids try our new Kid's Play Area, with swings, slide and more... This is adjacent to our refurished BBQ area, which is available for members and guests to use free of charge. Just contact the Club to book the BBQ for your next family gathering or special function.
